Volcano Love Song

Volcano Love Song

I’m in a Hawaiian mood. I love Hawaii, the trade winds, the moist, clean air, the verdant green hills. Its islands surrounded entirely by mother ocean.

This 6″ piece is called “Volcano Love Song.” There is a lot to love about passion, anger even. It is our core. Like the spinning earth, we need momentum, and fire. This is a companion piece to Pacific Mood‘s cooling, infinite source—water.

Original is sold. Prints at RedBubble and Etsy.

But the other reason I love Hawaii is that while it constantly creates and recreates itself, it also created something wonderful and unexpected.

A short story…

Boy meets girl in Hawaiian surf

1st meeting
1st meeting

Boy is from Australia, girl is from California 😦

No problem, bi-continental visits are exchanged…

Weddings are arranged… 🙂

Hawaii calls, they answer…

life in Hawaii

Life intervenes and a little girl comes to us “from the sea”…

  1. By the way, that’s my daughter Lexa and her husband Josh.
Lexa has some great artwork at her Etsy store earthdogoz, listed in my links here.

  2. Awww, I love this post! It makes me miss them all over again. Can’t wait until they are back.
